Jared McGriff was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Tulare, California. He received his BA in architecture from the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley in 1999 and his MBA from New York University in 2008. His works have exhibited nationally at George Washington University, Washington D.C.; The Gantt Center, North Carolina; NSU Art Museum,Fort Lauderdale. His work can also be found in the collections of NSU Art Museum, Rubell Museum, and ICA Miami. He has been represented by Spinello Projects in Miami since 2019. Solo exhibitions with the gallery include Alone, Together (2019) and Only Touching the Ground to Jump (2020).
