Jared McGriff was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Tulare, California. He received his BA in architecture from the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from New York University. McGriff's works have been exhibited nationally, including a solo exhibition, Where We Are You (2022), at NSU Art Museum, Fort Lauderdale. His work can be found in the collections of NSU Art Museum, Rubell Museum, and ICA Miami, among others. Represented by Spinello Projects, solo exhibitions with the gallery include Alone, Together (2019) and Only Touching the Ground to Jump (2020). McGriff was a winner of the 2021 South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship and the recipient of the 2022 Florida Prize in Contemporary Art. He is currently based in Miami, Florida.
